lighter pine pen

here are a couple of pics of a pen I made from lightered pine that a fellow from work gave me. He thought lighter was nice looking and wanted to know how it would look as a pen. THis is the pen I made him(he doesnt know that I made it for him) and it turned out better than I thought. He is in the process of finishing work on a small sawmill for his own use so there may be more wood to come. Keep those fingers crossed.

I've always loved pine, especially furniture made with old heart pine.
