I wanted to see what I could do with a sharpie. It would have turned out better, but I was still stumbling on the high gloss CA finish. I had to sand a lot of it off and try a second time. Needed the practice, though.

Cross-sanding is your friend.

Cross-sanding is your friend.
So is not accidentally leaving big blobs of Medium CA behind while you coat. By the time I started polishing, it was purely a salvage job. You are right, though.
