Success. "....with a little help from my friends".
Stars/Stripes Lever Action Pencil donation for a Navy Veteran, he doesn't like pens.
Glued up a blank. Followed the instructions for making the pen.
Used a Schmidt DSM2006 pencil mechanism and messed around with it until it worked. You have to "click" it twice to make the lead stay out, thank you KenV for that info. :biggrin:
You will need to open up the inside of the nib a little( I used a small file and tested as I went)
Then you will need to cut about .3160 +/- off the spline end of the pencil refill.
Don't cut off too much or it will not work right. I tested with each cut.
