You would have to be a big band fan to know where that comes from. In fact, the first person to post the right answer, band and tune, will get a free blank from my personal stash.

So, here's one more Gentleman fountain pen made from Nolan's DI Burl, completely assembled with a Heritage 18 nib. Finished with, I think, 11 coats of lacquer. Gold ti with modified CB on this one to show off more wood.

What is... And when The Count(Basie)says "let's try it one more once!" at the end of the great Wild Bill Davis version of "April in Paris," ???

That is a GREAT looking pen.[:D][:D][:D]

You win! Actually he said after he had said "One more time." PM me with your address and I will mail you a nice wood blank, not DI Burl though.

That pen is beautiful! I am glad you made one with Gold Ti....I have two of his blanks and was going to use one with a SS Baron, and the other with a Gold Ti Jr. Gent. Nice pen. BTW, how do you like the lacquer finish vs. your previous one in CA?
