I decided to do something different...again. And I learned a very valuable lesson doing it. This pen consists of Black Walnut for the butt and the nib parts, then in the middle Tropical Passion Dymondwood (this is not the bad part.) Then I thought I would make my own center band of Purple Heart. Nothing wrong with that. Until I finished it with 2 coats of CA finish and a couple of swipes with the HUT pen polish bars.
So what did I do wrong? I did not put bushings in between the center band and the other two pieces. Guess what I did? Yup, everything was glued together.

So the lesson here, is make sure to have bushings in between everything unless you want one piece!:bulgy-eyes:
