Every time I trimmed a blank the last few month, I threw the cut off ends slivers into a cup, thinking I'd use them for accents on segmented pens. Noticed the other day how many I had, and glued them up in random orders and made it into an old black chrome slimline I had lying around. Actually came out a lot better than I would have thought.

Colourful Pen, Gary.
Excellent use for your Off cuts.
I think I would have preferred to use them as an accent to a Pen Blank, rather than the Complete Blank.
But that is just my taste, I am very conservative.
Congratulations,
Brian

I am pretty conservative in my tastes too, I'm trying to force myself to expand my horizons in my older age...

It's always tricky when you're mixing wood and acrylics. You have to be very careful turning, light passes, there's such a difference in the hardness of the different woods and the acrylics.
