Hello everyone
It been a bit since I've done a pen, what with driving Evelyn around while she did her job, taking her for her test, my job hunting, the cold weather there just was no time. Well I got a start on this one this past Sunday when it was in the 70's here and finished it over the last 4 days. I like the look of this kit the brass tube is a bit longer then other kits of this style giving it a sleeker look I think. This is the first time I've used Myrtlewood it turned and finishes really nice and has some very nice grain. I finished it with my WTF method. It was nice to be in the shop if even for a little bit. All C & C are welcome.

Thanks Rod and LeRoy for the nice comments. No pen turning today or for the next few days as the temperature won't make it out of the 30's. I've been thinking about bringing my lathe inside for a few months. Yes that would be fine with Evelyn.
