Lava Lamp Jr. Gents

These sure are some pretty blanks. They are Lava Lamps from ElMostro. They are very easy to turn but I did find them a little harder than normal to get a nice polish on them. These are Black ti Jr. Gents, 2 rollerballs and 1 fountain.

I am all but positive that the lava lamp blanks are made from alumilite. It turns like a dream but takes work to polish. I've been using a lot of the lava lamp blanks lately as well as casting my own alumilite blanks. They cut, drill, turn, smell and finish exactly the same. The sandin and polishing take me much longer than the turning.
