Lauhala or Hala tree

Still learning how to take pics but the homemade light box I made took alot more realistic pics. The first pic is turned from the lenght of log,the other 3 pics are crosscut(if thats what it is called)Terminology not so hot. Easy to turn. I took 3 of these to market in the slim line version and went in the first hour

Looks like a palm type tubular wood. Looks good in the cross grain cut!

It is an interesting wood,Pandanus(screw pine) Lauhala,whatever its called.It does remind me of palm. I like the cross cut better also. Thanks for the comments.
