Latest Simple Pen

I didn't think a whole lot of my niece's choices when she picked out the blanks for this pen. However, after it's done, I like it a lot. The pen is clean (for awhile anyway - she's in grade school) and cheery. The top has Woodturner's friction finish on it and the bottom the plastic polish from HUT.

What do you think?

Now, what did you use for the bottom? Is it corian?

Yes, it is. At least I think so. It was a cutoff from a countertop installer. Looked at wife's cutting board for another source of white material but she says no.
