Latest pine cone pen and the first one.

The white pine cone is cast in similar 41 with white mica and white acrylic paint and diamond dust. Blank was back painted white. This is the latest blank I have made. It was presented to the Front Range Woodturners Guild for the perpetual turning and was taken by the first ticket pulled. Kind of proud.:biggrin::biggrin:

The Green one was the first pine cone cast I did and it too was with green mica and diamond dust and back painted green. It is a little fatter than the white. It is fun to see the evolution of your turning.

Thanks Tom Tedesco. It was fun to make. Tried a new finishing technique. Going to give it a few more tries before I commit to it. But it sure does make the CA like glass.
