First is a amber prickly pear cactus on a seirra with black background inside blank which Curtis "MesquiteMan" so graciously gave me at his CA demo in San Marcos. This also has a CA finish.
Second is a Churchill with a gold box elder burl blank. The finish is CA. My first ever attempt, which Curtis demostrated at our first Chapter meeting. No clouding, had to do alittle sanding but not bad for first time. I think I can get hooked on this finish after a little more practice.
Third is a spalted curly mango on a seirra click pen with a CA finish also.

Comments welcome, Keith "mrburls"

Those are some great looking pens. Can't decide which I like best. I didn't know you could do CA on Acrylic (is that what the cactus one is?).

Paul, The prickly pear cactus is cast in alumilite. Finished with CA to protect the fibers of cactus after turning down the blank. Took a finish nicely. "mrburls"
