Hi all,
I have an order to make 7 pens for a boss who wants to give them as Christmas gifts to the women in his office. Here is the first one. What do you think? I know the pic could be better I'm still working on my photo skills.

Thanks! I think it's maple. The last time I was at Woodcraft I bought a bag of random pen blanks. I was not labeled with the types of wood.

Is it a glue-up with an acrylic? I think the combo of the pink and the light wood, just not sure what the pink part is made of.

My wife did the same acrylic blank and it is called watermelon from woodcraft. Looks real nice!
