Just finished this one a few days ago. I polished the CA with 12000 MM and it came out a bit on the "satin" side. Wood is pecan with dyed wood from another pen I did earlier this summer. The one blank was one that I got the tube partway in and it stuck. I turned off the CA glue and pondered what to do next. I remembered the dyed wood from another pen. Drilled it and glued it to the pecan and milled it square. Turned it down and was pleased with the design modification. Sorry, not the best picture.

Sharon, thanks. Photo isn't great but you get an idea what it looks like. I need to get the tripod and DSLR camera and try some photos with it. Used to fly into Sky Harbor many years ago. Love AZ and NM.
