Here is the pen I turned and donated for a silent auction. Found out it brought over $100 for the cause (The Children's Center). The guy that won the bid did not end up with the pen, however. Somebody stole it. Fortunately, I had another piece of the wood and made a second one. It is curly bubinga. Thanks for looking.

It's a shame someone would steal the pen...You are a good guy for turning another one. The pen is beautiful and priceless because of the cause it was used for. Congratulations on an excellent pen for a worthy cause.

Nice pen and a great gesture on your part!
The one that was stolen will be tainted forever, the second one you turned will be special forever.
I'll bet the thief won't be able ot hold on to it for long.

Good looking pen for a great cause. Too bad it only worked out to be $50 per pen, but you did the right thing by making another. I still like to believe that nice guys finish first in the end! [^]
