Hi all. Here are the latest pens off the production line. A couple of Bolt Actions and a Shock Absorber with homemade Carbon Fibre Blanks and the latest Steampunk creations - a matching(ish) pen and pencil set. I am looking out for a centre band for the pen to match the pencil centre coupler. I wanted to do away with both centrebands but couldn't get a brass tube the right diameter to do the pencil as one piece.

For the pencil, to eliminate the coupler, try pressing the coupler first into one bare brass tube that comes with the pencil kit. Mount that tube and coupler between centers, and turn down the center band part of the coupler so it is parallel and flush to the brass tube. Press that assembly onto the second brass tube. You will end up with a single tube the correct length for that pencil kit. You will not be able to turn on a mandrel doing it this way though.

For this design that you have shown here, if the brass tube is exposed between your slats, you will see the coupler joint and may need some additional "masking" to make it work for you.

Both sets look stunning. The carbon fiber looks great with the bolt action kits and the steampunk is awesome and very cool. Great work!
