Thanks to all for your kind comments. The resin pen blanks are like a piece of wood with the bark on, you don't know what you will get until you turn the bark off. Their appearance really changes as you cut through the blank.

I said the same thing to TonyL only in a different way. We both love seeing what a resin blank reveals once you start turning it. It's a surprise every time and once of my favorite things about turning a pen.
