I actually made these pens a few days ago but was waitingfor some replacement parts to come in from BB due to the Berea problem .
The first is a Cigar made from Angico Preto and the second is also a Cigar made from Mansonia cut at 45 degrees.

Nice work. I know the angle one must have been tricky. I have only been able to make one so far.

Pray tell, what is the Berea problem?
They had a problem in the packaging , the Cigar kits had duplicate parts and missing one . I got 4 out of 5 kits with double nib connectors and no center connectors . This was corrected though with no hastles at all . Thanks BB .

I had tried cutting the wood at a 90 degree and had nothing but blow-outs , then I tried a 45 degree cut with much better results . I've got 1 90 degree blank that has been stabilized using water based poly (just soaked in it for 10 days)that I haven't tried yet .
