Do you like doing pens more using the metal,or wood lathe?

I'll prefer the metal lathe. It is so much easier to make parts to an exact size, and super smooth, too. No ripples or slips of the gouge.

Nicely done. Are you liking that new lathe? :biggrin:

I like it a lot:biggrin: I had a few hiccups here and there, but seem to have gotten over the first few humps.

Beautiful. Any pictures of the new lathe?

It's the LMS 8.5 x 16. It was on sale a few weeks ago, so I took the plunge. I was planning to wait until sometime this month, but I'm not exactly known for my patience:)
