First I want to thank Chris (Justturnin) for his gift of wood blanks. This first pen is from his Cherry Burl (Phoenix Pen) then his Curly Maple (Slimline).

The other 3 are 2 Comfort pens and 1 Slim from Acrylic.

Hey Ray, how do you keep your maple clean when you sand. I have a hard time with super light wood.

Dave I just use wet/dry sanding (dry) lightly then wipe with damp paper towel. Add CA then wet micromesh. Before polishing wipe with damp paper towel again. That is what I do.
