These are my last pens for 2007. Three of these are for a local Civialian Marksmanship Club, the forth is goin in my personal collection.

All of these are uncut 30-06 cartridges. I used 10" 7mm tube stock to avoid trimming the cartridge.

I thought Mike (Landfilllumber) would be proud of me. All of the wood is "Tree-cycled." [8D] From top to bottom:

English Walnut - recycled from broken antique bed post (I have more & may offer some blanks for trade):D
Wenge - Received from Mike (not sure what he recycled it from)
Black Walnut - recycled from a broken gun stock [:p]
Mesquite - salvaged from the smoke house fire wood [:eek:)]

Tim,

Nice work. I particularly like the first one. It has a nice flowing line from the nib, and we rarely see a cartridge pen with a centerband. It is very creative and I hope to see more of your work here.
