I promise I'm not trying to see how many posts I can make, I just find it easier to post them one at a time rather than try to do them all in one post and get the order right for the photos.

Ayway, Victorian pen style, new one for me and I like it, may be too ornate but we'll see. I think the tru-stone makes it work.

Perfect match!!
I can't make my mind up about all these new antique-y kits. I may have to get some and try them out on my better half.

I agree Stephen, the Victorian Pen is very Ornate.
But Boy did you Nail it with that Gold Thread, Black Truestone Blank.
The Antique Brass, complements, the Blank, it looks like a Prized Ancient Artifact that "Time Team" unearthed from a Church, Abbey or Historic Site.
Great Fit and Finish.
Fantastic Pen, Congratulations.
Brian.

Wow that is awesome. I have never turned true stone. Is it very hard to turn? What finish did you use? I really think the combination is fantastic

I agree with Ed and others. The dark blanks looks very nice with the kit.

I'm aware of some of the kit's flaws and it's ornateness... but... I want to turn one myself and see how it feels!!

I do like the dark and gold colors of the blank - nice combination. :)

Sharp tools - done, feels like a ROCK! But very pretty. Finish same as acrylic.

what flaws are you referring to? I am only aware of one, that is the antique pewter was in pure pewter and not a brass under-structure. Which caused to much variance in the tube fit. From what I am told that should be fixed.
