Last One From Last Night

This is a curly maple pencil that I converted from a Foray mechanical pencil. A customer saw the pentels that I had made and brought me a box of these, he works there or sells them or something to do with them. He wanted me to make a couple of these for him, but they are nothing like the pentels that I made. These don't attach like they do at all. I am going to make him a couple more and see what happens with them. Sorry about the picture, it was almost impossible to get a shot that actually shows the grain of the wood. It has some nice tight curl to it. The finish is 10 coats of Ca followed my micro mesh to 12000 and then some Ren Wax.
