Usual glow-in-the-dark stuff. Made the blank and wanted to see what it looked like on the inside. I got better results on this one with MUCH fewer voids from working the clay.

Use Nightglow FIMO. We had other brands crumble when an ant farted a mile off. Bake exactly as indicated, and work it like crazy to soften it before you make the blank. And use really sharp tools with a delicate touch. Use a skew at the end because it will only respond well to the fine sandpaper.

So Mr fart, ( love the name , sounds like something out of Austin powers)
do you wrap the clay around the tube? or do you make a "clay blank" and drill then turn?

I make the blank, then drill and turn. I don't think I could get these patterns any other way.
