Finished these today. The first two are White Tail Deer Antler over Sting Ray. The knobby finish on the Sting Ray makes it an excellent pen to write with that avoids slipping.
The second three are White Cedar from British Columbia. The bottom is smooth 6 oz. oiled cowhide. Do you think I can fetch seventy-five dollars? They are upgraded with gel ink fillers.

Wow!! Sting Ray??:eek: That must be a first here.
Is it the regular skin with a seam, or the tail? What stops it from rotting, or does it get cured like leather?

That's pretty cool.

I know the Japanese Samurai would use this on their sword handles, so when they got covered in everybody elses blood, their hands wouldn't slip!
