An as yet un named 3D blank. Taking the photo before CA, because the detail is hard to photograph with a glossy finish. Painted the checkered area with black paint and then sanded with 400 grit to expose the Maple underneath.

Ah .. the famous 'As yet Unnamed 3D Blank' :tongue:

I made up some labels for them, they're in the shop. Since I used the Gun
Grip diamond pattern file and added the Stag as a logo (could substitute
a monogram or a firearms logo) I just labeled it Gun Grip w/ Stag.
Original, huh?

Looks good. Wonder how the stag wold look in gold? Or black?
Bet that would look good in antler, too. But it might be best to put the
CA finish on before lasering antler, otherwise any color you put on after
might bleed into it..
