I've been playing with my CNC machine all summer long, but now that it is getting colder out in the shop, decided to play in the "turning studio" aka spare bedroom. I was inspired to do this one as a gift for a man who is in charge of working on our Aircraft Carrier stationed in Yokosuka Japan. It is dyed curly poplar with American holly cut with a laser engraving machine.
