I'm doing a demo on Saturday for a fall festival in Wake Forest, NC so I've been busy making some pens to have on hand. These are: curly mango and african blackwood lamination, bocote, and pink ivory and olivewood. Tom was the inspiration for the ivory/ olivewood combo. Thanks for looking.

Looking real good ... I really like that curly mango.. is that native to AU...
The olive and pink ivory is a nice combo... I might have made the lower band and the top ivory a bit smaller though... just enough to get the effect without overpowering the olive... I have found that highly colored woods like pink ivory, bloodwood, etc can easily overpower another wood they are mated with...
But you did a great job of jointing them....
