YouthMinisterDan sent me a nice laminated wood blank the other day so I made these two pens using it.
It was a laminated wood (birch?) of a light color.
I used another piece of laminated Cocobolo to make both these pens.
No finish was used ... just polished up the wood.

Thanks Dan ... nice stuff ... what is it called?

Those are pretty and shiny. But how will they hold up without a finish?

That is the great thing about resin treated laminated wood.
There is enough resin in it that they act more like acrylic or truestone material.
Using then daily will only polish them more.

Dymond wood is one brand that needs no finish other than polishing.
ColorWood does not have enough resin in it and needs a finish.
