These click Sierras all have a piece of knife scale acrylic laminated into them...always trying for a different look:

Lou's group buy dyed/stabilized Boxelder, with some black embossing powder and thin CA fill:

Hey Ed (loved your closed end pen DVD, by the way), what's the wood in the first one? The yellow one...also (forgive my ignorance), what the heck's a knife scale?

Milpaul, I've noticed the same thing, Photography, finishes, everything's improving a ton isn't it? Makes it hard to stand out anymore. Not that Yoyo's got anything to worry about. Look at those trademark beads! I get anything anywhere near that intricate, and "ssschchckkkkiiitt-fling!", off it goes...gah. Stupid lathe tools...yeah...that's it...the tools...[:p]

I might have to steal the border idea, though. It does add to the 'clean-ness' of the photo.

Very nice pens Ed. The stripe adds to an already nice blank.
The very last one, I have to say, is my favorite.
Great job as always!
