Here is platinum slimline dressed in a red acrylic blank. Evelyn ask me to make this for someone who has been very helpful finding some information she needed to help a client. I did paint the brass tubes red as I did not want to take a chance the brass would show through. IMHO the red and platinum are a great pairing. All C & C are welcome.

Watermelon, Fairy blank

Same here. it great to share one's experience.
This is mine. I used a pre-painted white brass tube with 5 hour epoxy.
I did NOT roughen the tube and did NOT paint the inside of the barrel.
I did wait a full 24 hours before turning, even the the epoxy directions called for 12 hours for full cure.
