Hi All,

I had this one blank that was sent to me with a bunch of others.
An Extra i suppose!

Googled it and found it to be Lacewood!
So i decided to turn it into a Baron Rollerball.
Finished with 6 coats of BLO/CA and MM to 12000.
Topped off with Brasso, Car polish and a coat of Conservators wax.

Comments or suggestions welcomed!

I have some strange wood in my shop that may be that Lacewood. Does the Lacewood have kind of fish scales on two opposite sides? The other two sides just look like wood grain. I was at a sale, and also has some caps that an old vendor there wanted, so he brought me two sticks of this wood for a cap. That is how I got the stuff.

Very nice looking pen.
It might also be Macadamia. Macadamia has a much smaller "pattern" than Lace Wood.
Here's a picture of a Macadamia Baron I made a few months ago to compare with.

Looks like lacewood to me. I made a clicker a while ago, out of lacewood and it looked the same.

Very nice pen. I would of never thought to put together that combo.
