This is a Jr. Gent titanium gold kit. Lace she-oak with a black resin spiral. I should have taken a picture with the pen posted. The stripe runs along the whole pen. The finish is CA/BLO.

Pipes-- AFter I have turned the pen down almost to where I want it, I take a pencil and scetch out my design. I've done vines and other things but this is a good start. After I have what I want I use my Dremel to cut/engrave the pattern out. You can use wood shavings, resin, emboss powder, whatever. I place a small amount of med. set CA in the pattern and fill with whatever I'm material I'm using, this helps to keep most of it there. AFter that start using a lot of CA, you then turn it back down. Hope this helps, it might sound like a lot to do but it's not. It is something I do need to practice more and more.

Jim-- Thank you for your comments.
