I have never seen one of these posted on any of the pen turning forums.
This Parker twist ballpoint is huge!
Cap Diameter @ 15/16", CB Diameter @ 31/32", Nib Diameter @ 33/64" and total length @ 6".
Minimum blank size @ 1-1/8" and requires a 27/64" bit for the lower and upper brass tubes.
I could not find any bushings or instructions for this kit, so I turned between centers and used calipers to size the blank for the fittings.
Used a piece of BEB finished with 6 coats of MINWAX Oil Modified Water Based Polyurethane.

Are you sure it was a pen kit or did you stumble across plans for Artillery Ammo ?
J/K! I'm assuming that it was a kit, but I'm wondering if it was intended for some type
of display.
You did a GREAT JOB with it,and it does look pretty cool!
You win the (betcha ain't got one of these) bragging rights!!!

Reminds me of some hockey players from Canada attending a tournament -- nice guys, and well behaved - and more than a bit towards the massive in size.

Neat --

KMS is a tool and equipment firm I am familiar with -- they doing special pens now???

Can't get away with an 'OOPS' on this size pen. You see everything...BTW, well turned and the fit-n-finish is up to your high standards as per the norm!!!!!

How many of these did you order(kits)??
