Dear all, this is my first attepmt at making a kitless pen..... this is what came out ......... wood used.... Berlian (iron Wood)

Would appreciate if you guys would be able to comment and guide me.....

Hey Gary,

Looks good but it would look really good with a little more attention to detail in the finishing. The nib doesn't jive with the "rawness" of the body. I do like that raw factor, though. It would be a perfect candidate for an Urushi finish..:wink:

Nicely done for a first time, Gary. It looks like the shoulder on the barrel at the nib end is quite thick. I wonder how comfortable it would be to write with.
