Very cool.

I'm guessing it's a cross refill. I'd be interested in the specs. And what size are the cap threads.

Good eye, Yes that is a Dayacom carbide ball cross refill, The thread is 1/2-20, Cap OD diameter is about 0.5800, Didn't measure the length before I shipped it but if I had to guess I would say about 5.5 inches total with the cap installed.

I just noticed you have 2 threads going. I wondered what happened to my original post. I guess you might ask a mod to merge them.

I like the style Jim. Red and silver is a cool colour combo.
Any particular reason that you used a cross type refill? Can you share how it's held in situ?

Steven, Glad you like it , I had a friend give me about 50 carbide Dayacom's so I figured "use em up" , the pen was shipped with a lifetime supply of ink ! :) Usually I go with either a rollerball or Parker refill. As to how it is held in, the aluminum cap in the rear threads in to the body of the pen.
