I have grown to like Alumilite for kitless pens because it can be reliably shaped, threaded and tapped. Once you learn to polish it you can achieve wonderful finishes. I have also found beautiful color combinations in the pen blanks available. These pens are made from alumilite pen blanks I obtained from Bob Dupras in Arkansas.

Those are beautiful pens!

I don't do kit less, but admire them, and these are great.

I agree that the blanks look wonderful. A good collaboration!

Site for Alumilite Blanks

Bob Dupras does have a web site, and he also makes custom alumilite blanks. He is a pleasure to work with and one of the reasons I have moved strongly in the direction of alumilite. The blanks are more expensive than some, but the feel and durability of the material to me are worth the difference. Bob's site is:

Pen Blanks - Alumilite - Slabs Blanks and Boards

If you don't see what you want - ask! Smile.

Those look great Pat! :good: I can't wait to see what you do with the "Surprise" I sent you. And I'm with everyone else, I like the blue & green the best too.
