Well, I was challenged to make a pen without using a lathe. So I used popsicle sticks, toilet paper roll, and a cheap bic click. I did this in my office and not in the shop. I think it came out pretty good

So what was your office manager expecting of you when you were spending your time doing this ?

Rather creative ... I wish I could see the black bit that holds the clip ... can't quite make out what it is. . Maybe it is part of the "cheap bic click" mechanism you refer to.

Its made into the bic. Theyre cheap at Staples
