Crafted from aluminium, and anodised Dark Green. I've had to change my tactics somewhat for anodising these. closed ends proved to be troublesome! Think I've sussed it now :biggrin:

Looks good as usual. Here is a dumb question because I do not know anything about anodizing, is that a better system than powdercoating?? Will this stand up to wear and abuse better??

ok, a few fun facts for you:

Powdercoating is rather thick. 25 to 200microns.. you wouldn;t want that anywhere near threads etc Decorative Class II anodising has a thickness of around 10 microns.

Anodising cannot peel off or flake. The coating is actually part of the metal, rather than being stuck to the surface like paints.

It will give a deeper, richer metallic appearance than is possible with any type of paint coating. This is because anodising is translucent allowing the metal to shine through from beneath

It will never fade in the sun either. Paints will
