Karate Black Belt pen

A good friend of mine recently earned his first degree black belt in Kenpo Karate. I segmented a black acrylic blank with a red stripe to resemble his newly acquired belt. I used gun metal fittings in an attempt to blend the metal into the blank. I haven't shared anything in awhile, so I thought this would be a good one to show off.

Another great gift which I have seen is when the boards are broke get them to give you a piece of the one they broke and make a pen out of it. Decal with date and years adds to it. Nice pen great finish.

Great job on the blanks. Personally don't much care for the wasp-waisted look, but that's just me. I'm sure your friend will love it!
