Just off the lathe

I have been seeing all the laminations and deciided I had to try. blew out the one end while drilling the first, but saved it by tutning soft grip. used 7 different woods.

Nicely done. The diagonal striping emphasizes the grain well.

Really nice. The blow outs are unfortunate, but you recovered from it nicely.

Bias cut always sells well. I keep all my old scraps and will one day get to making a pen for myself from them. That way I can show available wood to people who order.
