I cast this blank and was very unhappy with the way it came out .
Not being one to throw anything away I decided to use it for practice drilling multi step holes of different sizes and came up with this ,
it's a errrr ..... slimline?... 7mm tubes and a transmission anyway and the clip is from Elliot .
The picture really don't do it justice it looks much better in person , just could not get a good picture of this one .

As always comments are welcome

Thanks for the kind words everybody .
The blank looks nice on this side...a bit too orangie but nice swirl...the other side is a different story ... a solid sheet of gold mica , cool looking but too plain , guess I did'nt swirl it enough or something .
I got he clips from Elliot Landes www.penmakers.com , sorry to say he is closing his doors soon so I bought a supply to last me for a bit .
Overall the pen was just for fun , I like these kitless slimlines , they are fun to make and good practice precision drilling on the lathe
