Excellent Segmenting, Fit and Finish.
Just a thought, If you have anymore of the materials, it could be interesting to reverse the Woods, putting the Dark Wood inner pieces on the Top / Bottom, and the Lighter Wood, in the Center, with the Aluminium Soda Can Segments.
At first Glance the Dark inner Segment, looks a bit Heavy, whereas if the Dark Wood followed from the Finial and Nib, then with the Light Wood in the Center, it may look More Balanced.--- I am just thinking out Loud.
