Just experimenting

New pens completed today, Just experimenting with some different wood. The Walnut barrel was a Butcher Block from a friend, as a matter of fact all of the wood shown here was given to me.The Curly Maple was a 12 inch board about 3 ft long. The Hickory was sawed diagonally and glued cross grain.

They look good. I'd definitely display them as eye candy in the sale binder.

Nice grooves and beads. Probably a little fatter than I like for pens, but you did a great job with making them interesting!
