Hello everyone! Been a while since I've posted anything so I thought I'd post this one I just got done with. Its a Jr Statesman in Rhodium and 22kt gold in a piece of Spalted Hackberry I picked up a while ago. Been waiting for the right time to use it and this pen came up. I upgraded the std nib for a fine pt Bock nib. CA finish.

CC are always welcome good or bad! Thanks for looking!

Very nice looking blank/pen. Spalted Hackberry can be some funky wood until it is stabilized then it is beautiful. Great job.

Very nice!

The grain alignment on that piece is very well done! Congratulations.

Do you use sanding sealer on your spalted woods? I'm amazed at the contrast you kept on the cap especially. Very well done!

No I didn't. The wood was stabilized when I purchased it. Thanks for the great comments!
