After seeing the custom puzzle kit that Skiprat did, I figured anything he can do, I can do (note to self....get real). Once the buzz wore off, I decided to make this instead. This is a platinum and black ti. Jr Statesman with a custom honeycomb kit on it. The finish is 6 coats of CA sanded down to bare wood and then followed by 10 more coats of CA. I decided to sand this finish with micromesh as I didn't like what the 120 grit sandpaper did to the initial finish(note to self...read back of sandpaper). I then coated it with some Ren wax and went out for dinner(note to self....don't do that again). When I got back, I had to do some serious buffing to get the nice thick coat of Ren. wax to look smooth again. In the end, I found that I was happy with the results.
