.......I've had this it for a while and just got around to giving a go. It's wrapped in Spalted Cherry thathad been stabilized. As I got deeper into the turning I had to stop and give a good dose of thin CA in more than a few places but it all turned out fine. Still working on the photography aspect of pens., a long slow curve for me that still makes me miss more often than not. I know the depth of field w/the cap is "off" a bit but I am short on patience at this time. C&C encouraged. Thanks and be well.................Jan

Hi Jan; Pen look great !! On the first photo, I think you need to move your side lighting forward in order to get your pen out of the shadow. Second photo, looks to me like a pro shot it. Realy shows the beautiful grain of the cherry. When you look at this thread, bring both photos on the screen at the same time and look at the difference. Jim S
