A new wood for me from Exotics, I like the color. It is Birdeye She-oak
The Jr Gentleman is a titanium gold

I am not a fan of gold too, but I had ordered that kit by mistake, I had to do something with it. I am satisfied with the result.

I like the combo of the gold and the light brown of the She-Oak!

Any chance of removing the black finial and replacing it with a piece of She-Oak? That would look awesome in my estimation.
