At the last GA meeting Jonathan Brooks gave a casting demo and Fred Wisen was there with some molds. I got one of Fred's vertical molds and took the knowledge gained and tried some veritcal casting. The two pens shown are the result of my efforts.

The Jr Gentleman I with the red and black is the first blank to go into the mold and to come out of the mold. I think it turned out pretty good.

The Cigar with the purple and lime is a pen that was made on request for a repeat customer. Good thing I had the mold and a couple blanks under my belt. It came out good as well.

Thanks to Jonathan for the help and thanks to Fred for the molds.

Thanks to everyone who looks. Comments welcome.

Those look great Gary! I really like the lime and purple one. I hate that I missed that part of the meeting! :frown:

They both look great Gary. The green/purple came out particularly nice! Glad that I was of some use doing the demo. Keep'em coming! I know the casting bug has a hold of you now
