Jr. Gent with Matrix Red

Here is another of my Italian blanks I got recently called Matrix Red. This is a cool blank which is clear (translucent) with a red resin web like design throughout the inside of the blank. I posted a picture of blank also.
This blank is a must paint the inside of barrel unless you want to see the tube and glue:frown: or pen parts if going kitless
I chose to paint barrels gold to make the red resin pattern stand out on this one. I've got a number of other colored blanks like this to try out yet.

Nice Pen! Not much off the red matrix left though by the end of turning down!

Keith, the original color is great, but the gold gives it a very ancient oriental and classy look. My vote is for the final outcome.
